ARTMAGEDDON is built by human creativity & skill & we plan to keep it that way! AI tools, and especially AI art, have ethical issues that threaten the livelihood of professionals in Brooklyn. Generative AI models are trained to study the work of artists & essentially steal images & concepts without consent, credit or compensation. Therefore, AI-generated art is & will not be used for any of The Artmageddon Collective’s events, from promotional materials to participating artists & any AI-generated artwork or promotional material connected to our event was made without our knowledge or consent. Our artists are important to us, to our events, & to the community. Our events will continue to reflect this, without the use of AI.
